Carved between the Catawba River, tall pines, maples, and oak trees, Carolina Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole upscale daily fee facility, just minutes from Charlotte’s Ballantyne area. With natural streams and several ponds, Carolina Lakes Golf Club is a challenging but fair 7,024 yard, par 72 championship golf course designed by Golf Course Architect Tim Freeland. With Bermuda fairways and G2 Bent Grass greens, Carolina Lakes Golf Club is a true test of golf.

Five sets of tees allow golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy the championship layout at Carolina Lakes. The course features a sixth or family tee which turns the layout into a par 55 course, with 17 par 3’s and one par 4, sort of a course inside a course. The course features several elevation changes, which are not only part of the beauty of the course but also add to the challenge. Well placed bunkers and water hazards require players to use every shot in their bag.

The clubhouse is an elegant event space perfect for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, golf outings, bar mitzvahs, birthday celebrations and more. Our Executive Chef can create a meal customized to fit your specific requests. The Blue Heron Grille inside the clubhouse offers a full-service bar, a unique menu created by our Executive Chef along with picturesque views of the golf course.
